About Me

HI! Nice to meet you! I am Chef Julie.  I live in Tacoma, WA. I have lived on the west coast for many years and love it here. Washington State is one of the most diverse and beautiful places in the United States.  I have been working as a chef for most of my career and working in food service for nearly all of my career. I have college degrees in culinary arts and restaurant management where I have also studied nutrition. I have cooked for weddings, many types of restaurants, and professionally for school age children.  I have also catered to a diverse crowd. I have many unique and interesting recipes to share with you so check back often.  Life can get complicated but cooking doesn’t have to be. Happy Cooking!
